Hello, I am Lupé Carranza. I grew up in Phoenix, AZ and moved to Espanola, New Mexico at the age of 15 where I graduated from McCurdy High School. I later moved to Las Cruces to attend NMSU and graduated in May 2020 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. I completed my internship in an elementary school, working with students, staff, parents, and the community to help students stay engaged in school. I learned how happy I am helping others and the importance of being involved in my community to help advocate for others.
In my free time, I love drawing, creating digital art, listening to music, and going on walks. I am excited to start this new career path as the Community Engagement Coordinator at UUMC and be involved in our community.
