Mark Davis has joined the UUMC staff as the
Mark was born and raised in Lamar, Colorado. He attended Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois where he received his B.A. in Economics. While there, He rose to the student manager position at WETN Radio where he developed a deep enthusiasm and appreciation for media and creative pursuits. After graduating, he worked at RCL Recording in Glen Ellyn, Illinois and then moved back to Colorado where he did a two year stint in Christian and secular radio.
Mark attended Colorado University School of Law in Boulder, Colorado, graduating in 1988. During that time, his three children, Chris, Stephanie and Geoff were born. He married Dottie in 2007. Dottie has three children who are living in Colorado, Montana and Minnesota. She is a gifted worship pianist with the gifts of mercy, giving and service.
The United Methodist Church is the spiritual home to which he regularly returned after forays in other faith traditions.
Primarily called to the legal profession, he has practiced law for over 30 years, and continues to enjoy a thriving remote practice that requires monthly one-week trips to Colorado.
Assisting and supporting worshiping congregations is his joy. He looks forward to sharing that blessing with the Las Cruces University United Methodist Church over the coming months, and has already been encouraged by our church family in that pursuit.
