For many years now we have partnered with our neighbor across the street, University Hills Elementary School, to help support their staff, students, and families through several missional areas.
Mobile Food Pantry
Maybe you only have a couple of hours each month to serve. Well then here is the perfect opportunity for you. Every 2nd Friday of the month, starting in September, we host a mobile food pantry for the families of University Hills Elementary. Volunteers are needed to help unload the food and help distribute. Volunteers are asked to arrive by 8:00am down in the south parking lot of the church, straight across from the school, and distribution starts at 9:00am.
Christmas Angel Tree
During the season of Advent we like to help the children of University Hills Elementary have a Merry Christmas. During this time of year we have an “Angel Tree” located in the front foyer of the church. There people can pick up an angel tag marked with the name, age, and wishes of a University Hills student. Gifts are wrapped and returned under the “Angel Tree” to be distributed to the students.
